What type of details should we include in the Amenities section?

The primary objective of Hinfo is to allow you to provide your hotel compendium details in a new modern contactless format.

The Amenities section allows you to provide details refer to your property itself, for each room type separately.

The details included should be very descriptive, where possible, as this will lead to reduced time from your reception staff having to answer basic questions and allow your guests to be more independent during their stay.

An ideal way to measure this is by the number of components included within each details field.

In most cases:

Longer ≠ Better

Included below are a few examples of headings and their level of depth for each.

We recommend providing details on a good to strong scale for most (if not all) headings, where possible.

Air Conditioning

Basic

The main living area has an air conditioning unit.

Good

You can operate the air conditioner, with the remote kept in its holder next to main room door.

Strong

You can operate the air conditioner, with the remote kept in its holder next to main room door.

BBQ

Basic

The barbeque is available for guest use.

Good

Strong

Barbeque is available for guests use only.
The double hotplate setup is located next to pool.
To start, hold the green push button in for 5 seconds below the hotplate you want to turn on, then push again when finished to turn off.
Utensils are available at reception and must be cleaned and returned shortly after being used and before the reception desk closes at 10:00pm.
Please clean the BBQ immediately after use, ready for the next guest to use.

Gym

Basic

The gym is located next to reception.

Good

The gym located next to reception is available for only guests to use and is not open to the public or visitors of the hotel.

Strong

The gym is available from 6:00am till 10:00pm.
It is located next to reception is available for only guests to use and is not open to the public or visitors of the hotel.
There is a communal bathroom, complimentary sweat towels and drinking fountains located in the gym.
Please wipe down all equipment after every use and dispose any towels in the dedicated shoot with the sign immediately above saying 'Used Towels'.
