What smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices are compatible with Hinfo?
Almost all electronic devices with a screen and an internet connection can run Hinfo.
Our Hinfo iPhone/iPad app runs on devices running iOS 11.0 or later, which includes the following.
iPhone: 5s, 6/Plus, 6s/Plus, 7/Plus, 8/Plus, X, Xs/Max, 11/Pro, 12/Pro and 13/Pro.
iPad: Mini 2 and newer, 5th Generation and newer, all iPad Airs and all iPad Pros.
iPod Touch: 6th Generation and 7th Generation
To check the current version of iOS or iPadOS installed on your Apple device, from the home screen navigate to Settings -> General -> About and read the figure next to the Version heading.
If the number before the first dot shown is 11 or higher, then your device is compatible.
Our Hinfo Android app works on 98% of active devices as of November 2021.
To run the Android app, you need to run Android 5.0 Lollipop or newer on your smartphone or tablet and have Google Play services installed on your device. The manufacturers that create Android devices include but are not limited to:
- Huawei (Android devices only)
Our Mac app is accessible on both Intel and Apple Silicon (M1/Pro/Max) Macs that support macOS Big Sur 11.0 or later.
To check the Mac version you are running, please click on the Apple logo in the top left corner and click on About This Mac. The version number that appears up top is what is currently in use. To check if an update is available, click on the Software Update button at the bottom of the window.
Our website works on any internet device that has a web browser, including smartphones, tablets, windows laptops, MacBooks and Portable Gaming Consoles.
For Apple users we recommend Safari and for all other users we recommend using Google Chrome.
