Guest Compendium That Respects Their Privacy
Hinfo was designed from the very beginning to not invade your guests privacy.
Hinfo acquires the biggest benefit of traditional printed compendiums from the 20th century and is implemented into our 21st century digital solution.
We Do Not Monetize Any Guests' Data
We strongly believe in the following phrase:
"If you are not paying for the product, you are the product!"
Our service is free for guests to use, with all of our revenue coming from every property, that joins our service on a subscription model basis.
A substantial percentage of the general public opt out of using any particular product or service, if there were privacy concerns with it.
With people becoming more privacy oriented, we purposely developed our service to not need to invade your guests privacy.
When Apple released iOS 14.5 with their App Tracking Transparency (ATT) privacy feature, 96% of US iPhone users surveyed and 88% of iPhone users worldwide, chose to opt-out for all apps on their devices, immediately following the launch.

Data We Do Collect

The type of details we do collect include:

- Any messages sent via our Ask Reception Guest Messaging Service.
Many of these details are available for property management as each respective property to view only.
All details available for property management to see are on a statistical basis, to keep full anonymity for guests.
Hinfo does not collect any personal details from guests including:
- Phone Numbers
- Social Media Account Details
- Email Addresses
- GPS Coordinates (including when selecting a property)

Private Guest Messaging
Our Ask Reception Guest Messaging Service built into Hinfo also reflects your guests privacy.
Guests only need to provide their first name and room number when deciding to use this service.
When a guest taps on 'Leave' in the Home tab, this will also delete any messages sent.
All message conversations are encrypted when stored on our servers and are deleted automatically, 30 days after the last message is sent.
Guests can also delete the conversations they have with your staff at anytime via the 'Delete Sensitive Details' button in the Settings section for each property.

Private Food & Beverage Ordering
Our F&B Ordering service built into our Hinfo app also uses minimal details from the guest to place an order.
Guests only need to provide their first name, room number, where to deliver the order and items in the order itself.
When a guest taps on 'Leave' in the Home tab, this will anonymous the orders (removing guest name and room number) from that guest, to maintain historical order details for management analytical purposes.
All previous orders become anonymized (as explained above) once the order has been delivered to the guest and recorded as so in our service.
Guests can also anonymize themselves from the orders they have placed at anytime, via the 'Delete Sensitive Details' button in the Settings tab of our app.
Private Guest Service Requests
Our Guest Service Requests feature built into our Hinfo app, protects your guests privacy.
When guests send a request for a particular service your property offers, they only need to provide their first name, room number and any other brief details related to the service (e.g. quantity of pillows, preferred time for on-site activity etc.)
When a guest taps on 'Leave' in the Home tab in the app, this will also delete all service requests that guest sent.
All service requests stored on our servers are deleted automatically, 30 days after they were originally sent.
Guests can also delete the service requests they placed at anytime, via the 'Delete Sensitive Details' button in the Settings tab of our app.
