New Liquid Glass Effects on iOS/iPadOS 26 + Upgraded CMS Features

Today, we are announcing 3 major upgrades to our Hinfo service.
Hinfo is receiving its first updated design since personalized colours were introduced back in 2019, to complement the new Liquid Glass design for all mobile apps on iPhones and iPads.
The Hinfo CMS has also been upgraded with a redesigned Local Services section and a new drag & drop interface for sorting heading/location orderings.
Updated Visuals with Liquid Glass on iOS/iPadOS 26
With the imminent release of iOS/iPadOS 26 within the next couple of weeks, we're embracing Apple's new Liquid Glass design language to give our iPhone/iPad app a sleeker, more modern look - while maintaining a consistent design across all our guest access options.
Here are all of the visual changes coming with this refreshed design:
- Bottom Tab Bar now animates, when moving between tabs and shows a shadow behind the selected tab.
- Buttons in the top bar now include a glass-like border.
- Search Bars in all relevant sections now appear above the bottom tab bar for easy reach and are translucent to show the content when scrolling behind it.
- Top bar buttons including 'Leave' in the Home tab, now display alerts where the button was pressed.
- Updated design for all alerts.
- Updated Liquid Glass Hinfo icon on the Home Screen.
- The iPad side menu is now hidden by default and can be accessed using the button in the top-left corner of any screen, giving the app a full-screen layout.
These visual changes will become the new standard for all types of iPhone apps and this is all part of our ongoing commitment to further improve our service.
This refreshed design will become available in our Hinfo Version 3.10 app update and after each guest has updated their Apple devices to run iOS 26 or iPadOS 26.
As part of this feature update we have also made the following changes:
- New Send button icon on the Ask Reception Messaging screen (available to all users on all devices with this feature update).
- iPad side menu now displays the main tabs first, then all other sections in alphabetical order.
Our Version 3.10 update will become available for guests to download within the next few weeks. No changes are required from each property for your guests to receive these updates.
Hinfo CMS Upgrades: New Drag and Drop Interface for Sorting Headings/Locations
Whether it is re-ordering headings for your Property Details or sorting local places in the Near Me section, we have made sorting these headings/locations far simpler.
You just simply click on a heading/location, drag it up or down in the list to your desired positioning and then letting go with your mouse.
Staff no longer need to update numbers for each slot to make sure every heading/location has a unique number, just to change the order.
Hinfo CMS Upgrades: Redesigned Local Services Section
We have redesigned this section to use the same layout and navigation as the Near Me section, creating a consistent experience for managing local area details in the CMS.
This redesign includes the following changes:
- Find any existing services at a glance.
- Separate details screen to add/edit one service at a time.
- New 'Remove' option for each service.
- Ability to sort all services listed within each category, using our new drag and drop interface.
All CMS upgrades are available now, with our new Apple Liquid Glass design available now via the Hinfo V3.10 app update after guests have updated their devices to run iOS/iPadOS 26.
